New Construction Roofing

Luxury Naples homes are most commonly roofed in either concrete/clay tile or standing seam metal, with the right choice driven by architecture, structure and owner preference. Tile suits Mediterranean, Spanish and traditional designs and delivers the signature Southwest Florida look with decades of durability, provided the structure carries the weight and the underlayment is specified for the long term. Standing seam metal — typically aluminum near the coast, with a premium PVDF/Kynar finish — suits contemporary and transitional architecture, offers strong wind performance with concealed fasteners, and has become a frequent choice on high-end Naples homes. On luxury projects the details matter as much as the material: upgraded self-adhered underlayments, meticulously executed flashings, coordinated penetrations and equipment curbs, and correct attachment for the wind requirements of the site. Early involvement of the roofing contractor during design is where those details get resolved. Craft Roofing (Florida Certified General & Roofing Contractor, CGC1540219 & CCC1336696) installs tile and standing seam metal on luxury homes throughout Naples and Southwest Florida.

Yes. Craft Roofing works with general contractors on residential and commercial projects throughout Naples and Southwest Florida, serving as the roofing contractor within a GC-managed build. As a Florida Certified General & Roofing Contractor (License CGC1540219 & CCC1336696), Craft Roofing coordinates with the GC's schedule and other trades, works from the project's construction drawings, provides roofing estimates and submittals, and handles roofing permits, product approvals and inspections. Bringing the roofing contractor in early — during design or early framing rather than after the deck is on — lets roof-to-wall details, drainage, ventilation and material selection be resolved on paper, which produces a cleaner installation and fewer field problems. For GCs managing custom homes and commercial buildings, that early roofing coordination is a meaningful risk reducer.

Yes. Craft Roofing can review architectural roof plans and provide roofing estimates directly from construction drawings, so the roofing scope, system and budget are defined before a project reaches the roof. Reviewing plans early allows a roofing contractor to flag detailing concerns — roof-to-wall transitions, drainage, penetration locations, ventilation, and whether the structure suits the intended roofing system — while they are still easy to adjust on paper. On architect-designed and engineered homes, Craft Roofing coordinates roofing details and product submittals with the design team so the specified system matches the architectural intent and the structural design. Providing estimates from drawings also gives builders and owners a reliable roofing budget for the project early in the process. Craft Roofing (Florida Certified General & Roofing Contractor, CGC1540219 & CCC1336696) offers this for new construction throughout Naples and Southwest Florida.
